Three new cards have been revealed for the upcoming set called Number Hunters. These cards include Otonari Thunder, Giant Kra-Corn, and Splitting Planarian.
Otonari Thunder is a Level 4 LIGHT Thunder Effect Monster with 500 ATK and 1200 DEF. This card has two unique effects that can only be used once per turn. The first effect allows you to Special Summon Otonari Thunder if you control 2 or more Thunder monsters on the field or in the Graveyard. The second effect lets you target one Xyz Monster you control and attach 2 Level 4 LIGHT Thunder monsters, including Otonari Thunder, from your hand, field, or Graveyard to it as material.
Giant Kra-Corn is a Level 8 EARTH Plant Effect Monster with 1000 ATK and 2500 DEF. Like Otonari Thunder, Giant Kra-Corn also has two once-per-turn effects. The first effect allows you to Special Summon Giant Kra-Corn from your hand in Defense Position when an opponent’s monster declares an attack. The attack target is then changed to Giant Kra-Corn, and damage calculation is performed. The second effect lets you target a Plant monster you control (excluding Giant Kra-Corn) to combine their original ATK values.
Splitting Planarian is a Level 4 DARK Insect Effect Monster with 1000 ATK and 1800 DEF. This card’s effect allows you to banish it from the field to Special Summon 2 Level 3 Insect monsters with the same name from your deck. However, their effects are negated, and they are banished during the End Phase.
