“Downtown Las Vegas cultivates a new kind of success with the nation’s largest student farmers market, empowering young minds to grow sustainable change.”
The nation’s largest student farmer’s market is coming to Las Vegas! In partnership with Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, nonprofit organization Green Our Planet is hosting its semiannual Giant Student Farmers Market at the Clark County Government Center in downtown Las Vegas. The market will take place on Wednesday, October 25th, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This exciting event will showcase a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and crafts that have been grown in school gardens. Over 500 students from 40 Southern Nevada schools will be participating in the market, offering their produce and handmade goods for sale.
But that’s not all! In addition to the abundance of fresh and local products, there will also be a Formula 1 racing car on display for attendees to admire.
Commissioner Kirkpatrick expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “It’s a great opportunity to see everything that the kids can do and to support their efforts.”
The best part? The market is open to the public and admission is free. Plus, parking is also free, making it even more convenient for everyone to come and enjoy the market.
So mark your calendars for October 25th and come out to support the hard work and talent of these young student farmers. It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, buy fresh and local produce, and show your support for a great cause. Don’t miss out on this incredible event!
