Udhampur: On September 27, 2024, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a powerful message at a public rally in Udhampur, emphasizing India’s firm stance against terrorism. He warned Pakistan-backed terrorists that any attempts to spread violence in India would lead to their downfall. Adityanath declared, “This is a new India that will crush and bury terrorism.”

Highlighting the Indian government’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, he stated that if anyone tries to incite violence in Jammu and Kashmir with support from Pakistan, they would not find a proper burial. “They will neither have a shroud to cover them nor two yards of land to be buried in,” he affirmed.

In addition to his anti-terrorism stance, Adityanath discussed the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya as a symbol of success for the current governing model. He noted that security is a primary focus now, claiming that there has not been a single riot in Uttar Pradesh for over seven years. He also expressed hopes for similar progress in Jammu and Kashmir.

Adityanath criticized opposition parties like Congress and the National Conference for allegedly exploiting the situation in Jammu and Kashmir for political gain by promoting terrorism. He pointed out that the scrapping of Article 370 by Prime Minister Modi has put an end to terrorism in the region, calling it a closure of the “nursery of terrorism.”

He concluded by assuring that corruption and dynasty rule would not return to Jammu and Kashmir, expressing confidence that the people are ready to support a new beginning after the upcoming elections.
