Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, made bold statements during campaign rallies in Jammu and Kashmir, claiming that Pakistan will soon split into three parts. He accused Pakistan of fostering terrorism in India and stated that the country would soon face severe water shortages. Adityanath emphasized the positive changes in Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, highlighting the region’s transformation from a hub of terrorism to a thriving tourism destination. He criticized local political parties for exploiting the public and expressed his commitment to improving the lives of marginalized communities through development and job creation under the BJP government.

In a bold statement during his campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed concerns about Pakistan, suggesting that the country may soon be divided into three parts. He emphasized that those who spread terror in India at Pakistan’s encouragement would face dire consequences. He highlighted India’s review of the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, pointing out the nation’s stance that “water and terrorism don’t flow together.” Adityanath warned that Pakistan, once seen as a beggar for resources, would soon be desperate for every drop of water, highlighting the current struggles facing the country.

The Chief Minister also claimed that areas like Balochistan were now distancing themselves from Pakistan due to government mistreatment. He claimed that even Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was expressing a desire to join Jammu and Kashmir to escape starvation. Criticizing opposition parties like Congress and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), he accused them of fostering terrorism and neglecting the public.

Adityanath asserted that with the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A by the BJP government, development in Jammu and Kashmir had flourished. He pointed to infrastructure projects, such as the construction of the country’s largest bridge, and the introduction of a world-class train service as evidence of progress. Unlike previous leaders who he said prioritized foreign trips, Adityanath claimed the BJP government is focused on empowering various communities in the region and providing job opportunities.

As he wrapped up his speeches, he made a historic reference to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s challenges in 1952 regarding Article 370, suggesting that the current governmental changes are a step towards lasting peace and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
