The executive vice president of JSW, Ranjan Nayak, also confirmed that the company has not backed out of the Odisha project. He stated that the project will proceed once the necessary land is allocated.
JSW had previously signed a memorandum of understanding with the Odisha government, led by Naveen Patnaik, around seven months ago to establish facilities for electric vehicle and battery manufacturing in the state.
