Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), urged voters in Haryana to support his party in the upcoming assembly elections. Speaking at a recent public meeting in Kalayat, Kaithal, he emphasized the importance of voting for AAP candidates to secure a brighter future for children in the state.

Kejriwal highlighted the troubling issue of youth leaving for foreign countries illegally, saying they sell their land due to a lack of job opportunities. He noted that his party’s candidate, Anurag Dhanda, has committed to addressing local issues such as drinking water supply and drainage problems. Kejriwal asked residents to give Dhanda a chance, insisting that AAP can bring real change.

He also criticized the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for allegedly trying to undermine AAP by making false accusations against its leaders. Kejriwal defended his integrity and reassured the audience that the people would ultimately judge his honesty.

During the rally, he reiterated five key promises if elected: free electricity, free healthcare, quality government schools, ₹1,000 monthly assistance for women over 18, and increased job opportunities for the youth. The event concluded with a roadshow in Pundri, where he continued to rally support for AAP.

This push by Kejriwal reflects AAP’s strategy to connect with local issues and enhance their voter base ahead of the elections.
