Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during a rally in Jammu and Kashmir, accusing him of speaking about love while endorsing talks with Pakistan amidst ongoing terrorism. Shah emphasized that there can be no dialogue with Pakistan until it halts terrorism. He also targeted regional parties, particularly the National Conference and the People’s Democratic Party, claiming they have obstructed democracy in the region for years. Shah asserted that the Modi government has worked to curb terrorism, replacing violence with opportunities for youth. He dismissed any chance of restoring Article 370 and urged voters to reject dynastic politics, promising a democratic future under the current administration.

In a strong political statement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, during a rally in Thanamandi, Jammu and Kashmir. Shah accused Gandhi of promoting a “Mohabbat Ki Dukan” (Store of Love) while simultaneously issuing what he called “Aatank Ka Farman” (Terror Diktat) by suggesting talks with Pakistan. He emphasized that talks can only happen if Pakistan ceases its support for terrorism.

Speaking at various election rallies ahead of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir elections, Shah expressed his disapproval of Gandhi’s alliance with Pakistan and pointed out comments made by Pakistan’s defense minister supporting the Congress and National Conference’s agenda to restore Article 370. He declared that Article 370, which grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir, would never return under the current government.

Shah also addressed the political legacy of the Abdullah and Mufti families, stating that their dynastic rule obstructed democracy in the region. He praised the impact of the Narendra Modi-led government’s policies, asserting that terrorism has been effectively addressed and that democracy has been strengthened in Kashmir.

In conclusion, Shah’s remarks reflect a broader strategy aimed at undermining the credibility of his political opponents while reinforcing the BJP’s narrative of improved governance and security in Jammu and Kashmir.
