Michael Saylor, executive chairman of MicroStrategy, believes that Microsoft could enhance its Market valuation by up to $4 trillion by investing in Bitcoin. In a recent CNBC appearance, Saylor outlined how converting existing cash reserves, dividends, and buyback strategies into Bitcoin could significantly boost Microsoft’s financial standing and share price. He emphasized that such a shift would allow Microsoft to evolve from an “asset-poor” company to one with a strong digital asset portfolio. While he acknowledged that big corporations may be cautious, he sees increasing interest in Bitcoin as a strategic reserve among publicly traded companies. Saylor remains optimistic about Bitcoin’s future, predicting that crossing the $100,000 mark will signal a new phase of Market adoption.

Microsoft Could Gain $4 Trillion by Investing in Bitcoin, Says Michael Saylor

In a recent discussion on CNBC, Michael Saylor, the executive chairman of MicroStrategy, proposed that Microsoft could significantly increase its Market valuation by integrating Bitcoin into its financial strategy. He estimates that by shifting some of its cash reserves into Bitcoin, Microsoft could potentially add up to $4 trillion to its Market cap while also boosting its share price by $600.

Saylor elaborated on the idea, stating that if Microsoft redirected its existing cash into Bitcoin, this move alone could contribute an extra trillion dollars to its total Market cap and raise share prices by $150. Additionally, by converting dividends into Bitcoin or using Bitcoin investments instead of stock buybacks, Microsoft could tap into another trillion dollars in value, further enhancing its share price.

He emphasized that adopting Bitcoin would enable Microsoft to transition from being “asset-poor” to a company that is more financially balanced and capable of investing in future growth. Saylor noted, “Instead of surrendering capital through buybacks, they could invest in Bitcoin, grow enterprise value, and feed the digital economy of the future.”

MicroStrategy has been a leader in institutional Bitcoin investment, currently holding over 400,000 BTC in its treasury. Saylor believes that as interest in Bitcoin grows among large corporations, Microsoft could soon join this trend. He predicts a continued upward trajectory for Bitcoin, suggesting that once it crosses the $100,000 mark, it will signal a new phase in mainstream adoption.
