Zoho Corporation, a leading software-as-a-service company, has officially launched Zoho Payments, a new unified payment solution designed to help businesses accept online payments seamlessly. This announcement was made during the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai, where the company also introduced business-to-business (B2B) payment capabilities using the Bharat Bill Payment System. The new payment solution aims to integrate with Zoho’s existing finance apps like Zoho Books and Zoho Invoice, providing a comprehensive financial management platform. Zoho Payments is PCI-DSS level 1 compliant, allowing secure transactions through UPI, numerous net banking options, and credit/debit cards, supporting the rapid growth of digital payment transactions in India.



Zoho Corp Enters Payments Space with New Unified Solution

Sridhar Vembu, the co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corp, introduced a game-changing payment solution called Zoho Payments at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai. This new service aims to simplify online transactions for businesses, allowing them to accept payments from customers seamlessly.

In addition to direct payments, Zoho Payments incorporates business-to-business (B2B) payment capabilities backed by the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) from NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited. Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, Zoho’s Global Head of Finance and Operations, emphasized the importance of integrating business finance, banking, and payments to streamline operations.

The introduction of Zoho Payments comes at a time when digital payment transactions have skyrocketed, reaching over Rs 11,660 crore in 2023, up from just Rs 3,134 crores in 2018-19. This surge highlights the increasing reliance on digital solutions in today’s fast-paced business environment.

Zoho Payments will work alongside the company’s existing finance tools, including Zoho Books, Zoho Billing, and Zoho Invoice. Designed to be secure, this payment solution is PCI-DSS level 1 compliant and supports various payment methods, including UPI, multiple net banking options, and credit/debit cards.
