Manish Sisodia, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has launched a foot march campaign across all Assembly constituencies in Delhi to connect with voters ahead of the polls. While addressing a gathering in Rajender Nagar, he confidently declared that AAP would win all 70 seats if elections were held now, following the affection he received from the public during his campaign. Sisodia, who recently spent 17 months in Tihar jail over allegations related to excise policy, criticized the BJP for their past actions against him and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He emphasized that AAP remains united and is committed to serving Delhi, asserting that their popularity among the people will ensure their victory in the upcoming elections.

Manish Sisodia, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is optimistic about the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. During his ‘Padyatra’ campaign in the Rajender Nagar constituency, he confidently claimed that if polls were held now, AAP would secure all 70 seats. This assertion comes as the Delhi Assembly elections are set for February next year.

Sisodia, who recently spent 17 months in Tihar jail related to allegations tied to an excise policy, expressed that he believes the love and support he received from the public during his campaign indicates AAP’s strong position. He accused the BJP of attempting to undermine AAP by imprisoning both him and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Reflecting on his time in jail, Sisodia stated that he emerged stronger, ready to connect with the community through outreach efforts that began in Greater Kailash on August 16.

While AAP performed well in the last assembly elections, winning 62 out of 70 seats, they faced challenges in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Sisodia remains hopeful, saying, “The Aam Aadmi Party will win all 70 Assembly seats if polls are held right now and get 70 percent of the total votes.”

As he continues his campaign, Sisodia is focused on reinforcing AAP’s presence in Delhi and emphasizing the party’s resilience against political adversities.
