That has been an experiment! That’s why it took so long to send this post out to you. Recently, I attended the HumanX conference and had some incredible conversations. Initially, I didn’t plan to start a video interview series, but the speakers were so engaging that I simply couldn’t resist. Now, my schedule is filling up with recordings and upcoming interviews. As a busy mother of five, I wondered if I could utilize AI tools to produce a few episodes independently.
For video editing, I primarily used CapCut (paid version), which features brilliant built-in AI tools. Its standout feature is the “Do Transcript” capability. By editing the text, you can simultaneously edit the video, which makes the process much smoother. I also relied on Scribe from ElevenLabs (free) for transcription, while I typically use Otter (paid). For interview edits, Claude 3.7 Extended (paid) was my go-to, as I found ChatGPT to be less effective. ChatGPT 4.5 (paid) was used for highlights, quotes, and TLDRs. The advancements in these AI tools felt like pure magic!

The variety of options AI tools provide can be a bit overwhelming. Questions like whether to keep or remove the background or even generate an AI-created background take time to master. However, once you get the hang of it, becoming a one-person media team feels surprisingly doable—though I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. After several nights with CapCut and other tools, I can tell you that writing an article about MCP was a breeze compared to this!
