Xiaomi recently launched its flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, alongside the new HyperOS 2 in China. This updated operating system introduces innovative features like HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI, focusing on enhancing device performance and smart connectivity. Key upgrades include an AI-based dynamic lock screen, custom home screen layouts, new animations, and a 3D weather app. Users can control phones from their tablets, share clipboards, and enjoy diverse AI tools for painting, voice recognition, writing, and real-time translation. While the update starts in November for select devices in China, there’s no word yet on an international release for HyperOS 2.

Xiaomi has just held a major event in China where it introduced two new flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Along with these devices, the company unveiled its latest Android interface called HyperOS 2. This new system brings exciting features and improvements focused on enhancing user experience.

HyperOS 2 is packed with three key innovations: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI, designed to offer users better functionality, smarter connections between devices, and improved artificial intelligence interactions. The new system enhances the overall performance of devices by introducing an advanced scheduler, better memory management, and a revamped rendering pipeline. It promises to provide reliable network connections using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 5G technology.

What’s new in HyperOS 2? Users will find an AI-driven “movie-like” lock screen, dynamic wallpapers generated by AI, and a fresh home screen layout that allows for customized content and improved widgets. The update also includes smoother animations, a new 3D weather display, and features that let users control their phones from tablets and share clipboards across devices.

With a strong focus on AI, HyperOS 2 introduces several tools such as AI Magic Painting, Voice Recognition, Writing assistance, and real-time translation. These features aim to enhance productivity and communication for users.

However, it’s essential to note that HyperOS 2 is initially rolling out only for devices in China, starting with the Xiaomi 14 family in November. Plans for international releases are yet to be announced, so users outside of China will have to wait for further updates.
