Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently addressed a gathering in Mirzapur, emphasizing the importance of unity among Hindus and reflecting on the long wait for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which signifies 500 years of struggle against invaders. He initiated 127 development projects valued at Rs 765 crore and distributed smartphones and tablets to youth under a government scheme. Adityanath criticized the former Samajwadi Party government for allowing mafia dominance and pledged that the current administration ensures safety and justice for citizens, regardless of caste. He highlighted the transformation of Mirzapur, celebrating its improved infrastructure and upcoming representation at the International Trade Show in Greater Noida.

He noted that historical invaders managed to destroy temples due to societal divisions, and he highlighted that Hindus had to wait 500 years for the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

During the event, where by-elections are upcoming, Adityanath laid the foundation for 127 development projects worth Rs 765 crore and commented on the prosperous state of Ayodhya Dham now that the grand temple is built. He urged the crowd to consider the reasons behind historical destruction and the need to maintain unity for future development.

The Chief Minister highlighted various government schemes, distributing smartphones and tablets to over 1,500 youths under the Swami Vivekananda Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana. He criticized the previous Samajwadi Party government for allowing a mafia-like rule before 2017, which he claims has been effectively eliminated during his tenure. Adityanath also warned against the dangers of playing the caste card for political gain, asserting the importance of collective progress for the future of the state.

As the International Trade Show approaches in Greater Noida, he showcased Mirzapur’s improvements, particularly in infrastructure and development.
