Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took aim at the opposition parties, particularly the Samajwadi Party and Congress, during a recent event in Ghaziabad. He used a poetry-style commentary, calling them “Bhasmasur,” accusing them of misusing power for their own benefit. Adityanath highlighted their past failures in governance, suggesting they make grand promises while hiding their dark history. He criticized Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi for misleading the public and suggested that under their rule, the safety of women and the interests of the people were compromised. In contrast, he claimed that his government has restored safety, respect for traders, and provided jobs and support for farmers in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, took a poetic approach during a recent event in Ghaziabad to criticize the opposition parties, specifically the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. He referred to these parties as “Bhasmasur,” a character from Hindu mythology known for misusing his powers. Adityanath accused them of taking advantage of their positions to oppress the people.

While addressing the audience, he recited shayari, stating, “They don’t have eyes, yet they speak of sights; while they loot with folded hands, they claim to talk about reforms.” This pointed jab was directed at leaders like Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi, suggesting they have done little for anyone but themselves.

The Chief Minister went on to highlight his administration’s achievements, claiming that under his governance, the safety of women and the prosperity of traders have improved significantly. He also defended his government against opposition claims of rising crime, emphasizing that the current climate is far better than during the previous Samajwadi Party rule, where he alleged that lawlessness thrived.

As political tensions continue to rise in Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath’s use of poetic rhetoric marks a unique strategy in his fight against the opposition.
