BJP spokesperson RP Singh criticized Rahul Gandhi for his recent comments regarding the India-China border conflict, suggesting that Gandhi trusts China more than Indian military leaders. Speaking in Washington, Gandhi slammed Prime Minister Modi’s handling of Chinese troops in Indian territory, likening it to a failure any U.S. president would face. Singh accused Gandhi of having an agenda aligned with China and of seeking votes by meeting controversial figures like U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. He also claimed that Gandhi’s remarks could fuel separatist sentiments and provide support to Khalistani groups. The BJP spokesperson emphasized that Gandhi’s statements pose a threat to national unity and security.

BJP Takes Aim at Rahul Gandhi Over China Remarks

New Delhi, September 11 – In a recent statement, BJP National Spokesperson RP Singh criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments regarding the border tensions between India and China. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington DC, Gandhi claimed that the Indian government has poorly managed the situation, specifically pointing out that Chinese troops occupy 4,000 square kilometers of Indian territory.

Gandhi questioned how any world leader could justify the presence of foreign troops on their land, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not effectively dealt with the Chinese presence in Ladakh. He stated, “If you think having Chinese troops in our territory is handling the situation well, then that’s concerning.”

In response, RP Singh argued that Gandhi’s views are misguided and suggested he trusts China more than Indian military leaders. He cited a former army general’s assurance that China does not hold any Indian territory. Singh accused Gandhi of having a cooperative agenda with the Chinese Communist Party, claiming this influences his criticisms of the Indian government.

Singh also disapproved of Gandhi’s meetings with US lawmakers, particularly Ilhan Omar, who has been vocal against India. He called on the Congress party to explain their relationship with figures that oppose India, suggesting that Gandhi’s actions are driven by vote bank politics, especially with elections approaching in Jammu and Kashmir.

Moreover, Singh expressed concern over what he described as Gandhi’s anti-Sikh comments made abroad, suggesting they promote separatism and could be misused by those advocating for Khalistani movements. He emphasized that Gandhi’s statements could have long-lasting repercussions, echoing past controversies surrounding Article 370 in Kashmir.

As the political narrative heats up, both parties seem poised for a contentious battle on these critical issues.
