The committee consists of 30 members, including 20 from Lok Sabha and 10 from Rajya Sabha.

He also mentioned that, after 75 years of independence, it is vital for the nation to operate in a language understood by its people, as the Department of Official Language develops software to translate between languages on the Eighth Schedule automatically.
