Among the standout performers were Bharti Airtel, Infosys, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Bharti Airtel’s Market value jumped by Rs 47,194.86 crore, reaching a total of Rs 9,04,587.12 crore. Infosys followed closely with an increase of Rs 33,611.37 crore, bringing its Market valuation to Rs 8,06,880.50 crore. TCS also made impressive gains, adding Rs 31,784.9 crore to stand at Rs 16,46,899.17 crore.
The 30-share BSE Sensex rallied for the ninth consecutive session, closing at a historic high of 82,365.77 points, after peaking at 82,637.03 during the day. Other notable increases were seen in Reliance Industries, which saw its Market capitalization rise by Rs 13,396.42 crore, and HDFC Bank, which added Rs 5,600.24 crore.
Despite the positive trends for many companies, some, like Hindustan Unilever and ITC, experienced declines in their Market values. Hindustan Unilever fell by Rs 8,411.54 crore, while ITC dropped by Rs 4,776.48 crore.
As of now, Reliance Industries remains the most valued company in the country, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, and Bharti Airtel among others.
